From Freestanders to Forests: Custom Event Displays Built for Immersive Storytelling
When Extra Credit Projects came to Brightformat with a vision for an immersive installation at a major forestry conference, our team partnered with them to engineer a display solution that could bring the concept to life at event scale.
Extra Credit Projects designed a series of large-scale custom trees that attendees could walk around and explore, creating an immersive, interactive timeline celebrating 125 years of industry history. Brightformat built them with the same lightweight, modular materials as our patented Freestanders. The displays were easy to ship, simple to install, and engineered for a seamless event experience.
Beyond engineering and printing the custom structures, Brightformat supported the project with shipping logistics, packaging coordination, and custom assembly videos that guided the onsite installation team through setup. The exposed corrugated edges and recyclable substrate reinforced the sustainability story while creating a natural, organic aesthetic that fit the event environment.
