Kalamazoo Nature Center’s Trail to Sustainability
Stacking up for sustainability, one cube at a time.
For Earth Day 2024, the Kalamazoo Nature Center (KNC) put their mission front and center with an inspiring showcase of their Trail to Sustainability—a bold initiative to achieve carbon neutrality by 2035. As part of this celebration, KNC used our Freestanders Stacking Cubes to share their story, educate the community, and highlight the impact of their ongoing efforts toward environmental stewardship.
From grant wins (hello, $1.29 million for renewable energy!) to donor support and community involvement, the cubes became a vibrant, eye-catching way to bring their message to life.
Freestanders are as sustainable as the messages they carry. Printed on a natural fiber-based board with a recycled kraft core and paper-based liners, they're a VOC-free, fully repulpable alternative to traditional MDF and plastic signage. We use water-based HP Latex Inks that are UL ECOLOGO® and UL GREENGUARD GOLD Certified, and once your event is over, 99% of each cube is recyclable. Just trim off the rigid seams housing the magnets, and the rest goes in the bin. Smart, sturdy, and sustainable, just the way we like it.
